Plan a better quote request
Guides here grow from real customer questions. The most useful one fits on a single page:
What to send when requesting a welding or fabrication quote
- Photos — a wide shot for context and a close shot of the damage or work area. For repairs, photograph the break from two angles.
- Measurements — even rough tape-measure numbers help: lengths, heights, openings.
- The job in one or two sentences — what broke, or what the finished piece needs to do.
- Location — the city, and whether the work can travel or needs on-site service.
- Material, if known — steel, aluminum, or stainless. Not sure? A magnet sticks firmly to steel, weakly or not at all to the others.
- Timeline — urgent breakdown or planned project.
With those pieces, most projects get an accurate response fast — the quote form accepts photos and documents directly.
